Changing Tides Equine was created with a simple vision: to provide thoughtful care for horses while creating meaningful opportunities for people to learn, connect, and grow alongside them.
Our Story
Founded by Kailee Brabant and Dr. Nora Kleps, Changing Tides is a small, hands-on equine facility in East Hampton, New York.
We provide full-service retirement boarding, horsemanship classes, educational experiences, and equine rescue through Changing Tides Equine Rescue.
Our approach is centered around compassionate horse care, hands-on learning, and meaningful connections between horses, people, and our community.
We intentionally keep Changing Tides small so we can focus on the individual needs of the horses and people who are part of our community.
We believe that being present, paying attention, and taking the time to understand each horse makes a difference.

The Team
Kailee Brabant- Owner & Manager
Kailee’s connection with horses began at age twelve, when she began working at a local stable in exchange for riding lessons.
That early experience shaped her belief in the trust, confidence, and connection horses can inspire.
Kailee holds a Bachelor of Science in Equine Business Management from Johnson & Wales University and brings years of hands-on experience in horse care, horsemanship, and equine program development.
At Changing Tides, Kailee oversees daily operations and leads the farm’s horsemanship and educational programs.
Dr. Nora Kleps- Co- Founder & Veterinan
Dr. Nora Kleps brings more than 30 years of veterinary experience to Changing Tides. Her compassionate, individualized approach to animal care helps guide the health and well-being of the horses in our care.
At Changing Tides, Dr. Kleps supports preventative care, nutrition, veterinary needs, and coordination with other veterinarians when needed.
